Snow!

We got some snow this weekend.  It started on Sunday morning and didn't stop until late that night.  It has snowed a few times earlier this year, but never this much and never for this long.  I finally got a chance to take Rian outside and play in the snow.

Here are some pictures I took while we were out getting cold.

The snow didn't have any problem sticking...

We had freezing rain the night before, creating a nice cold surface for the snow to stick to.

This little shrubbery didn't stand a chance.

Rian loves snowball fights... until the first snowball gets thrown at him :)

Between the freezing rain and the snow, icicles were everywhere.

These were on our trash can.

This one was hanging from our roof until it attacked me, provoked by a slight, accidental bump with an umbrella.

Baby's Heartbeat

Lacey has been having weekly doctor's appointments, so I went with her the other day and brought the camera along with me. Check out the video below to hear what our baby's heart sounds like.

Christmas Pictures

Here are a few pictures I took around Christmas.

Lacey and I stayed up late one night trying to get our Christmas cards to print correctly. We never quite nailed it, so the cards didn't look quite as nice as we were hoping they would.

Rian had a very good time on Christmas. This was the first year he got really excited about Santa coming.

Lacey and Rian relaxing on a Saturday afternoon.

Thank Heaven for Little Boys

I took some pictures of Lacey's big belly and some baby stuff and put them together in a little slideshow. Running time is 1:56. I hope you enjoy it!

35 weeks

The countdown is on! I can't believe we only have about a month to go until NT's due date. I can't wait to meet him and see what he looks like, kiss his tiny toes and hold him. Last week we had our 34 week check up and everything looks good. We heard his heartbeat, learned that he's "dropped" and weighs about five pounds. So we're definitely in the home stretch. I totally feel like he's running out of room!

We're getting ready for when NT gets here. Over the weekend we got the crib and changing table put together. It's so exciting! I love all this baby stuff. Rian was so helpful and it's awesome that he's excited about a baby brother. He even told me he wants to change diapers and feed his baby brother. We'll see...I love hearing how he wants to do these things.
